ABOUT

Andrea Bellizzi is primarily a street photographer, capturing people candidly as they move through everyday life. Streets, markets, village squares, and quiet corners often become the stage for small moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

From a young age, he has been fascinated by people and their behaviour, often observing the small gestures and interactions that shape daily life. He is mostly drawn to everything human – the presence of people and the traces they leave behind.

His work is often drawn to cultural aspects – religious symbols, local rituals, and the subtle interactions between people and their surroundings. Through simple observation, his photographs reflect how life quietly unfolds in shared spaces.

Bellizzi works with both digital and film photography and enjoys experimenting with different styles, often allowing the mood of the subject to guide the visual approach.

Photography helps him understand life as an aesthetic experience. It unfolds in frames, and every frame carries its own relevance.
